Officer Michael Winkler

Officer Michael Winkler graduated high school from Morningside Christian School in Sioux City, Iowa in 1993, the salutatorian of his class. He later graduated from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Management in1998. Prior to joining the Edgewood Police Department, Officer Winkler worked as an Executive Team Leader of Assets Protection for the Target Corporation for 9 years. Officer Winkler joined the Edgewood Police Department on May 1st, 2006 and completed the 18 week basic training certification, at the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, KY, class 373, on September 29, 2006. Officer Winkler was recognized with the Coordinator’s Award at the academy.
