Crossing Guard Carol Jeffers - Carol Jeffers began working part-time with the Edgewood Police Department
in March 1997. Every weekday during the school year, she performs her duties at St. Pius, R.C. Hinsdale, and Turkeyfoot Middle School
in both the morning and afternoon. Although she is not a sworn police officer, Carol is nonetheless a vital member of the police department.
She watches over our children and keeps them safe in the school zones, thus freeing our police officers to perform other duties.
Carol graduated from Holmes High School in 1964. She is the mother of four children and grandmother of four. She resides in Elsmere with her husband, Bill, and is a member of Erlanger Baptist Church. |
